PAT

Another chapter has closed. My children are now officially to big for Parents At Teachers. This was our last visit from Ms. Karen and it was kind of sad for me.

They always do the best activities with the kids. Jillian loved mixing the colors.
Blowing the water colors. I think Jillian sucked in a little once when getting another breath to blow. They would blow a red droplet to a yellow droplet and make an orange one.

Jillian and Ms. Karen

We will definitely miss our visits from Ms. Karen.

Blood Draw

Jillian had to go to the GI doctor for her tummy problems. We made a plan of action, which included another blood draw. She cried so hard that she was completely worn out and crashed on the way home.
Didn't even finish her happy meal. Things have improved since taking the doctors advice and I don't even know if we will have to go back.
My poor baby girl.

Toes

Jillian and I went for pedicures for her big birthday party at the pool. Surprisingly she did really well at holding still. I brought her crayons and coloring book along to keep her entertained.

Our matching toes had flowers on them for her Luau.
My girl loved being pampered.

Last Swim Lesson

The last day of swim lessons.
Below is a picture of my awesome boy doing his bobs.
He came a long way this summer at the pool - so proud.

Jillian did great with everything at swim lessons except putting her head underwater. I think next year will be a breakthrough year for her.
Below she is showing off her back floats.
Drew waiting his turn to get in the deep end.
He was a little nervous being in the deep end - but my brave boy did it.

Dinosaurs

Drew and I visited Union Station for the first time to go to the Dinosaur exhibit.
We watched an awesome 3D movie.
That way...
As if I even have to say it, but I will. He loved every part of it.

Drew as a paleontologist.
Here we are trying to make it look like the dinosaur is biting his head.
Pressing different buttons made different parts of the dinosaur move. He especially loved this part of the exhibit.
My boy resting under some dinosaur neck bones.
Looking for me.
I didn't know how crowded this place would be so we came up with a plan in the car before coming in. Since lots of kids would be there with their mom we didn't want Drew to yell "Mom" when he wanted me or couldn't find me. So our plan was to call each other ketchup and mustard since he was wearing red and I was wearing yellow. So in this picture he is yelling "Mustard!" We only got a few funny looks.

Giving his best dinosaur stomp.

Our first trip to Union Station was a fun one.
BTW - the one fact that Drew remembers to this day from all the info we learned is that a T-Rex's sinuses can hold up to 7 gallons of snot - that is one messy sneeze.

Goggles

Drew saw other kids with googles on during their swim lesson and instisted he needed some.
We decided to try a few different kinds before bring them to lessons.
Neither one of them loved the kinds of goggles that I bought, so he decided against bringing them to swim lessons. Glad we gave them a trial run.

Randoms

Like the title says - Random shots from the summer.
Jillian loves dressing up, coloring and posing :)

My growing boy.

Cookie Monsters
Jilli decided to eat eyeballs first.
Obviously after a swim lesson.
I am taking the kids picture while I am driving - safety first. Don't worry just held it up and aimed in there general directions and this is what I got.
