Monkey Business

We went to Jillian's best buddy, Addison's birthday party at Monkey business. The kids had a blast. I only got a few picture because my camera battery died about 20 minutes into it and I left my charger at Mom and Dad's the weekend before.
Drew and Jillian climbing up the slide.

And then down. Birthday girl, Addison is up at the top!

Climbing, climbing, climbing.

They played non stop for an hour. Both of my kids were red faced and sweaty.
Adults could do all of the activities too. Andy and I had to take turns going with sister because she would need a little help every once in a while.
Then the camera died. So much fun and the kids were exhausted afterward. No complaints about going to bed that night.

Monica's Baby Shower

Our neighbor Monica is having a baby boy in May, and we are so excited. I went to the shower last weekend and of course it was fun, with my group of friends, we always have fun.
The presents!

Measuring our yarn guesses of the circumference of Mon's baby belly.
It took me three tries to get the timing right, for them to look like the were hugging, he he.

Kicked back relaxing and enjoying some mimosa's (except for Monica of course).

Opening gifts.
Yummy Cake!
The cutest diaper cake ever, courtesy of Tanya Wilson. The best part is there was a 6 pack of beer hidden inside it, no joke.
The loot.
I said to Jillian "guess who is getting a baby brother?" She said "me?" I replied "no never honey, but Levi is. Isn't that exciting!" She wouldn't want a baby brother if we had one, she gets jealous of Claire. She would stroke out if a baby took away from her attention :)

Cardinal Swing

My cuties in their Cardinals shirts from Nana and Papa, just a swingin.

This is Jilli's first year in the big swing and she does great.

Look at Drew pumping those legs.

Flying high!
These may be the cutest kids alive, if I do say so myself.
So glad the weather is nice now. The whole family was about to go crazy being cooped up inside.

Kite Flying

When we were out running errands this morning the wind was about to blow us away. Just our luck there wasn't enough to get our kite up after nap. It wasn't for the lack of effort though. Our boys tried hard.

So close. That Drew has to be the cutest boy I have ever seen!

Taking a picture of my goofy boy by our tulips we planted last fall. You should see them now, even more blooms, even more beautiful.

The Furries Are Taking Over

Obviously I can't get anymore animals until I get a bigger couch.

We Got Mail

The Easter celebration was not over yet. The kids got a special box delivered to them.

Check out those hands, they couldn't wait.

Lots of Easter candy from Grandma Pam and Grandpa George.
They loved it of course, my children are chocoholics. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Egg Hunting at Our House

Heading up stairs to see what the Easter bunny left them.

Jillian showing me her dolly, which she loves.
Drew got the Joker and Mr. Freeze, also a big hit.
Like I said, excited about every single one.

They cleaned out the living room and are headed down the hall.
Drew saw the ones in the bathroom, when he came in Friday during the Easter security breach. So he knew right where to go.

Again excitement, egg hunting never gets old for this girl.
We had some cool eggs that hung from things, stuck to thing (like under the kitchen table) and some with suction cups.

Drew missed one in the bathroom, suction cupped to the tub. Jillian was good at finding eggs, she found the trickiest ones.
Easter was a blast. We finished the weekend by watching the kids' new movies, The Princess and the Frog, and The Chipmunks Squeakel.

Pictures Galore - Easter at Nana and Papa's

Easter weekend at mom and dads was fun and relaxing all at once. My family hadn't been up there since Christmas. When Claire came Saturday morning she was wearing her batgirl shirt from Drew, so of course we had to get pictures. I love the picture below because of my giggling boy and the look that Claire is giving him. It also demonstrates my husband's picture taking capabilities or lack there of.
Over here Batgirl!

Sweet Hugs
Time for the egg hunt. We brought our mud boots because we knew the yard would be squishy.
Jillian is ready......
... and excited. If only we could crop out the dog butt hole in the picture, it would be so much cuter. Now you can't stop looking at it, right? You're so gross.
Drew seems to be making a plan of attack.
ooooo.... piggy food. Drew loved his motorcycle that was in his basket.
Youngest first. Claire loved shaking the eggs.

I thought this was a cute one.
Now it was Jillian's turn.
She gets excited about every single egg.
Drew waited very patiently for his turn.
Hunting...
Hunting.....
Kyle was Drew's helper, as always.
Claire, shaking her eggs.
After all 50 eggs were found everyone headed in but sister. She wanted to stay outside, so we decided to swing.
Daddy and his baby girl.

My twinkies.

My turn to swing with the bean.
Nana getting some baby Claire lovin.
Andy the pups lazing around. It is nice to not have a million things to do on the weekend.
Claire making some calls.
Batman (making a silly face) and Batgirl playing together.

Payton and McKenzie brought up some cool kites. Payt's was a shark.
McKenzie's was a killer whale. We were all trying to get hers up in the air, but the wind was coming and going, so it made it a little difficult.
"Yeah Wind" Probably not the most common cheer.
Nothin better than some puddle stompin.
That looks like it is going to be a big jump.
The girls!
Claire rocking in the rocking chair. She is giving me the stare down.

So cute, our Claire.

So cool, with her matching vest on.

Claire came over and gave Drew a hug, it was really sweet.
Then she laid a smooch on him. And for any of you that know what a 1 year old kisses like, open mouthed and drooly, you will understand Drew's expression. He loved it though.
The Roberts Family Easter morning.

Mom and Dad before church.
My three boys waking into church. My favorite picture of the weekend.

On the way home we stopped for our favorite ice cream. Drew got the end of dad's cone and made a mess. Sister was already asleep at this point and ice cream is not her thing, otherwise she would have been an even bigger mess. The chocolate may have lured her though.
Boy, were those moose tracks good.
