In Trouble

Father's day we shaved the hawk off, gave the kids a bath and then Andy went to get us ice cream. The kids were using their dry erase markers on their tracing books. Drew got up and went down the hall, so I assumed he was done and just playing in his room. THEN he come into the living room and says look at me, and this is what I saw (minus the tears). He knew he was in trouble the first second I looked at him.
Drew had a big lesson in consequences that night. Because he didn't follow the rules he didn't get his dilly bar.
This looks like a prison photo. The stripes don't help. Luckily it came off really easily.
I could hardly keep a straight face because of the mustache and I asked him why he did it and his answer was he was trying to be in disguise. I could gobble this kid up he is so cute.

Father's Day Eve T-Bones Game

For Father's day we went to a Saturday evening T-bones baseball game. I ordered a late afternoon a thunderstorm that dropped the temp and humidity for wonderful weather at the ball park.
Jillian in her usual pose.

Nearly impossible to get a nice picture of these two together. (This day it was impossible.)
This was Jillian's first ballgame. Both had their T-bones shirts and cheek tattoos on.

Mini Andy showing off her tattoo.
It was a crowded night, we had to park by Target. But we made it and had wonderful seats by first base and out of the sun.
A little blurry, but none the less cute.
First, snow cones. Jillian is looking to Drew to learn the ropes.

Me and the boy.

Mohawk and a tattoo? What kind of 4 year old are we raising? ;)

Dirty look
About the 5th inning we headed over to the play area. Jillian is waiting in line for the bounce house, making friends.
She was so excited to have her own dollar.
Cute Dad and cute Drew waiting in line for the slide.
Getting rid of some of that energy.
Drew log rolling down the slide.
Are you giving me a dirty look too?
Then he gives me his real dirty look. I can hardly keep from laughing when he makes this face and sometimes he is really serious. This time he was just being funny.
Dad explaining the game.
Trying to take a picture of the three of us - didn't work out so well. Instead I ended up with my fat head, Jilli eating dip-n-dots and the spikes from Drew's hawk.
Jillian enjoying the chocolate dip-n-dots. The funny thing is Drew picked out ice cream and Jilli popcorn and they each ate the opposite. I guess it doesn't matter as long as everyone is happy.
After the game there was fireworks and Jillian loved them. The purple ones were her favorite. She kept saying "that one is huge" or "that one is my favorite." We had so much fun. Glad the T-bones are just down the road.

Slip - N - Slide (the Saga)

After swim lessons for Drew and swimming for sis, pizza lunch and Toy Story 3, we decided to make a full play day and set up the slip-n-slide that evening. The kids had a blast and I got some pretty good picture, especially the action shots. Below Jillian is sliding into the little pool.
I guess she liked having her head soaked because she would just go randomly lay down there.
Most of the time Andy would give them a push down.
Drew was working on getting a running start and doing it on his own.
Cutie Man
I love how you can see the water droplets.
Lucy getting a refreshing drink.
Mid Slide
Preparing for the splash into the "pool" at the bottom.
Splashing into the "pool" at the bottom.
3...2...1... BLASTOFF!
Best Drew action shot of the day.
Right over the edge - that was a good one.
Best Jilli action shot of the day.
Playing in the pool at the bottom.
Jilli would just flop down on her bottom in the water. You will she this face from her a lot.
Drew wanted to be slid up the hill.

Action shot of little man sprinting up the hill.
Drew decided he needed a drink too. First he cupped his hand for a drink.
The browns worn out and hot from chasing her favorite red ball. Andy said this looks like a mascot picture.
Lucy doesn't look that worn out because she was laying in the shade watching Bailey chase her favorite red ball.
Sumo?
Then they decided to stick their faces in for a drink.
Then out came the tongue.
Handsome
One excited little boy! You can really see the cleft in his chin in this picture.
Trying to splash me and my camera.

That face again. It doesn't get old.

My Sweet Girl.

I have been struggling for a couple of days to put slip-n-slide videos on this post, but it is just not happening. I will try again later.
